Junior WordPress Developer

This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of WordPress experience who enjoys building user-friendly websites, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with designers and content teams.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update existing WordPress websites
• Customize WordPress themes and work with common plugins
• Build and update web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP
• Publish and manage website content, layouts, and media
• Troubleshoot website issues and resolve bugs
• Assist with implementing new website features and enhancements
• Ensure websites are responsive across desktop and mobile devices
• Support website performance, security updates, and ongoing maintenance
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to deliver high-quality web experiences
• Follow coding standards and use version control to manage changes

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience working with WordPress

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Working knowledge of PHP
• Experience customizing WordPress themes and using popular plugins
• Familiarity with responsive web design principles
• Experience using Git or another version control system
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Gutenberg, Elementor, or other WordPress page builders
• Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience with WooCommerce is a plus
