Software Development Engineer In TestWestlake TX (Hybrid Onsite 1 week then 1 week remote alternating each week is onsite/remote) 12+ Months Web Cam Interview W2 Only Will need a glider to prove serious interest in the role and technical capability. Notes: Must have 10/10 Good communication. Will need to define, manually test, and automate testing efforts. Must have the ability to effectively define/create/document test cases in a test management tool and support both manual & automated testing.Sample projects for the Principal Software Development Engineer in Test include:Current Project - Client 360"Client 360" project is designed to create a comprehensive, unified view of each account within Client Facility.This approach aims to integrate and consolidate data from various client and prospect products to provide a holistic perspective of the client's interactions, preferences, and history.Roles & Responsibilities:Validate that the system performs as expected from an end-user perspective, including verifying client and prospect data handling, reporting features, and user interactionsGather a deep understanding of the Client 360 project goals, including the integration of client and prospect data, and how it will be used to enhance customer relationships and decision-making.Develop a comprehensive test strategy that covers functional, non-functional, and integration testing for the Client 360 system.Create or manage test data that mimics real-world scenarios, including various client and prospect data sets, to validate system behaviour.Previous Project - Contract RequestContract process is designed for Managing directors (MDs), Sales, Pricing Analysts and the contract teams who need to formalize a request in order for new or existing contact to be put into effect, the entire process walks the submitter through series of screens and collect required information from them.Roles & Responsibilities:Designed and implemented automated test scripts and frameworks to validate Contract Program requests,Maintained and managed code repositories on GitHub, ensuring version control best practices.Developed comprehensive test plans and executed test cases to assess functionality, performance, and security of pricing, credit and contract program request, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with business requirements.Collaborated with development and product teams to integrate and test new features and enhancements related to credit program.Conducted thorough regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that contract request functionalities met quality standards and provided a positive user experience.Identified, reported, and tracked defects related to contract request processing.Contributed to the continuous improvement of testing processes by recommending and implementing best practices and tools.Earlier Project with this client - Outlook integration with Sales ForceThe project focused on integrating Microsoft Outlook with Salesforce to enhance productivity by allowing users to seamlessly manage emails, calendar events, and Salesforce records within Outlook.The integration aimed to streamline workflows, improve data synchronization, and enable enhanced user interactions between the two platforms.Roles & Responsibilities:Conducted integration testing to verify that data flows accurately between Outlook and Salesforce, including the synchronization of emails, contacts, and calendar events, and that Salesforce records are correctly updated based on user interactions in Outlook.Developed and executed comprehensive test cases to assess core functionalities such as email tracking, calendar synchronization, and the linking of Salesforce records with Outlook emails and eventsPerformed regression testing to verify that new features or updates to the integration did not negatively impact existing functionalities.Identified, documented, and tracked defects related to the integration, collaborating with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.Submission format – please complete in full: Skill Highlights- please indicate the # of years on each of the following skills:Quality AssuranceAbility to define software testing requirements and document accordinglyAbility to automate testing effortsLeadership experience- # yearsLeadership experience- # people led on largest team and what client?
