MISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced Level I and Level II Rope Access Technician for work in Baton Rouge; LA. Candidates will support industrial inspection and maintenance operations while utilizing rope access techniques in accordance with safety and industry standards. The Rope Access Technician will perform inspection, maintenance, and support activities while working at heights and in industrial environments.Must have experience in mechanical, coatings, and blasting. Working for MISTRAS Group:Comprehensive health benefits with coverage after 30 days worked full-time employment Generous paid time off and company paid training Competitive Wages & Per Diem for Travel Jobs per DSA Rates401K Savings Plan with 50% company match up to 6% of salary, after 90 days Job Responsibilities:Perform rope access work in accordance with SPRAT and/or IRATA guidelinesSupport inspection, maintenance, and industrial service operationsUtilize rope access equipment and techniques safely and effectivelyFollow all company, customer, and site-specific safety proceduresInspect and maintain rope access equipmentWork at heights, in confined spaces, and industrial environmentsComplete required documentation and safety reportsWork closely with supervisors, inspectors, and project teamsWork overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as project demands requireRequirements:Current SPRAT or IRATA Level I certification required for Level I openingCurrent SPRAT or IRATA Level II certification required for Level II openingPrevious rope access experience requiredStrong commitment to safety and quality standardsAbility to work independently and in team environmentsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferredPreferred Requirements:Previous industrial, refinery, petrochemical, or maintenance experience preferredNDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT, RT) are a plusMISTRAS Group, Inc. is committed to equal employment opportunity.
