Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider – (Independent Contractor)

Location: Anderson, South Carolina

iTrust Wellness  provides comprehensive outpatient behavioral health and psychiatric services to individuals and families across South Carolina. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our Anderson‑based team as an independent contractor with the opportunity to transition to full-time W2.

This role is primarily an in-person position providing services in the Anderson, SC area to support high-quality, accessible patient care. Hybrid flexibility may become available once an established caseload has been developed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA)

Board certification in area of specialty:

• PMHNP (preferred)– new or experienced
• AGNP – new or experienced, if new require specific psych experience as an RN.
• FNP – new or experienced, if new require specific psych experience as an RN.
• PA-C – new or experienced, if new require specific psych experience during clinicals.
• Active, or eligible to receive, unrestricted state licensure in South Carolina
• Active, or eligible to receive, prescriptive authority in South Carolina
• Active, or eligible to receive, DEA Controlled Substances licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and confidence in developing evidence‑based treatment plans
• Solid foundation in psychopharmacology with an interest in continued learning
• Ability to practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team

Schedule & Work Setting

• Monday–Friday
• Hybrid flexibility, including telehealth visits, may become available  once an established caseload has been developed.
• Flexible scheduling with autonomy

Support & Resources Provided

• Administrative support for scheduling, billing, licensing, and credentialing
• Access to clinical consultation, professional development resources, and continuing education

Independent Contractor Details

• Position is a 1099 independent contractor role
• Contractors are responsible for their own insurance, taxes and benefits
• Flexible engagement model designed to prioritize quality patient care
