Chair Rental - Start at $250, with the opportunity to transition to $300 once your clientele and business are well established. Duties Perform professional hair braiding, weaving, and styling tailored to each client's preferences and hair type Consult with clients to understand their desired look, offering expert advice on hair care, extensions, coloring, and styling options Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly cleaning tools, implements, and workstations in accordance with health regulations Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently Assist with upselling additional services like hair extensions, coloring treatments, or nail care to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Stay current with the latest trends in hair styling, braiding techniques, color theory, and barbering practices to deliver innovative looks Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, ensuring they feel valued and satisfied throughout their visit Support store management with daily operations as needed and mentor junior team members to foster a collaborative environment Qualifications Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair styling, braiding, coloring, and hair extensions Certification or licensing in cosmetology or barbering as required by local regulations Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and proper use of tools such as straight razors and hair threading implements Familiarity with salon software platforms like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse clients Ability to perform multiple services including makeup application, nail care, and client consultation when needed Knowledge of store management principles to contribute positively to team operations and client experience Join us if you're passionate about transforming looks through creative hairstyling!
