We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry Level AML Analyst to support financial crime compliance efforts within the Financial Services industry in Princeton, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone beginning a career in compliance, analytics, or banking operations and offers hands-on exposure to transaction monitoring and investigative review. The role focuses on examining customer activity, identifying unusual patterns, and documenting findings with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
• Review customer records and transaction activity to identify trends, inconsistencies, or potentially suspicious behavior.
• Examine currency transaction documentation and supporting materials to ensure information is complete and properly recorded.
• Prepare clear written summaries that explain research findings, notable activity, and recommended next steps.
• Enter and update case information with a high degree of speed and accuracy across tracking tools and spreadsheets.
• Use Excel to organize data, perform analysis, and support daily reporting needs for compliance reviews.
• Assist with enhanced due diligence tasks by gathering and evaluating relevant customer information.
• Escalate unusual transactions or documentation concerns to senior team members in accordance with compliance procedures.

• Strong technical proficiency including Microsoft Excel and the ability to work efficiently with spreadsheets and data sets.

• Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering concepts, transaction review, or Enhanced Due Diligence is preferred.

• Strong data entry skills with consistent accuracy and attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a similar field is required, or equivalent banking experience.

• Ability to research, recognize patterns, follow review guidelines, and communicate findings in writing.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage repetitive review work with care and consistency.
