We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician - Ceramist opportunity at NDX H&O Dental Laboratory in Manchester, NH.The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:Completely read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist. Clarify questions with supervisorConfirm that all items needed are present and in suitable conditionChoose correct porcelainBuild to correct contour, blend and occlusionFire at correct temperatureAdd on when necessarySteam clean required itemsPlace units back onto dies, back onto modelsReturn items to proper panComplete cases according to work ticket schedule, notify supervisor of late casesScan and initial cases as requiredFollow all safety rules and regulations as well as standard operating proceduresPerform tasks in one primary work stationManipulate small items and hand toolsOperate a sandblasting unit as well as a steam cleanerWork with hot ovensShadingWaxingCeramageTooth TattooingClean work area with 409 weeklyAll other duties as assignedSkills and Abilities Required:Must be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishManual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination, excellent perception skills and attention to detailsMinimum Education and Experience Required:Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalentThis technician has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience and is skilled in one or more of the skills associated with a Dental Laboratory TechnicianHazardous Materials or Equipment Used:Hot ovens, sandblasting unit, steam cleanerPhysical Requirements:Must be able to sit for long durations of timeProduce cases as per fixed time schedules and required number of units
