About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced CDL A Tanker and Hazmat Driver for regional delivery routes based in Dumas, Texas. This direct-hire opportunity involves transporting liquid products to dairy farms across multiple states. Drivers should be comfortable with hands-on loading and unloading, farm conditions, ladders, cattle, mud, and exposure to agricultural chemicals.

Pay & Schedule Details

• $28-$32 per hour
• Overtime after 8 hours
• Double time after 12 hours
• Biweekly pay
• 40 hours per week
• Regional routes with two routes per week
• Overnight hotel stays at least 3 to 4 days per week
• Travel costs covered for required overnight stays
• Anticipated start date: August 19, 2026

• Work environment: Outdoor farm settings involving cattle, mud, dirt, ladders, and agricultural chemicals such as formaldehyde, copper sulfate, and acidified liquid copper

Key Responsibilities

• Drive regional routes and safely transport tanker freight to customer locations.
• Complete two routes per week, typically serving 10 to 16 dairies per route.
• Begin routes at a plant and load the truck using a hose.
• Deliver and unload products at dairy farms.
• Use truck or farm ladders to inspect the inside of tanks.
• Work safely around cattle, mud, dirt, farm conditions, and agricultural chemicals.
• Follow all applicable transportation and workplace safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• 4 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Active Hazmat endorsement
• Active Tanker endorsement
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to perform heavy-touch loading and unloading duties
• Ability to work around cattle, mud, ladders, and agricultural chemicals
