Accountant

Location: Remote, US

Salary: $60,000-$80,000

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries accurately and within established deadlines
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Complete intercompany receivable and payable reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies
• Support internal and external audit activities by preparing schedules and required documentation
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
• Assist with special projects, financial analysis, and ad hoc accounting requests

What You’ll Bring

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles
• Strong Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, filtering, and formulas
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, NetSuite, or Sage Fixed Assets
• Familiarity with IBM i / AS400 environments
• SQL knowledge
• Multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction accounting experience
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA
